Elusive Ring Card from Magic: The Gathering Discovered, Estimated Value at $2 Million

The highly anticipated One Ring card, part of the official Lord of the Rings expansion for Magic: The Gathering, has been discovered, creating a buzz among fans. The news was first shared on Twitter by the MTG fan account, Hipsters of the Coast, who provided a link to the card's certification, indicating that it had been promptly graded. Illustrated by artist Veli Nyström from Finland, the One Ring card received an impressive mint 9-grade ranking from the authentication and grading company, Professional Sports Authenticator, just shy of being considered a "virtually perfect card."

The official MTG Twitter account responded to the discovery by quoting J.R.R. Tolkien's iconic line, "One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the Darkness bind them." The tweet expressed their excitement about a new Ring-bearer having possession of the serialized 1:1 The One Ring card. Although this particular journey may be complete, the adventure continues with the MTGxLOTR expansion.

Fans and collectors are eagerly awaiting further developments and opportunities to engage with this unique addition to the game.
